Community Commitment
Hudson Bay Credit Union is committed to our community and investing in our community is both a responsibility and a privilege.
It’s our philosophy we’ve lived by since opening our doors in 1954. We had a commitment to stand by the communities we serve and nothing has changed in the years we’ve been in business. Donations, sponsorships, fundraising, volunteer activities and service charge reductions to volunteer organizations are all part of giving back to our community.
All sponsorship and donation decisions are made locally so our proceeds are invested locally as your community and your credit union grows stronger together.
Every year Hudson Bay Credit Union supports numerous organizations, events, groups and clubs with the communities we serve. To view some of our support recipients, click here.
The following pictures are just a few examples of how we supported our communities over the last couple of years:

Hudson Bay Credit Union celebrated Credit Union Day on October 15, 2009 by hosting a community fundraiser for the Hudson Bay Sports Concession and with the Credit Union matching donation of $1559.80 a grand total of 3119.60 raised.

In 2008 we raised $4,715 through our golf tournament/silent auction for Hudson Bay Minor Hockey. We would like acknowledge credit union staff volunteers for organizing the events and the many local businesses that participated by attending or providing silent auction items.

Thanks to everyone who attended and bought lunch and for those businesses supporting our take-out business and for raising monies for KidSport.

The hamburger lunch brought in $906.00 with proceeds matched by the credit union – a total of $1,812 was raised for KidSport in 2008– so all kids can play. Thanks and Cheers to the community for coming to Credit Union Day!
