High School Scholarship Award Recipient — $1,000
High School Scholarship Application form

Qualifications for High School Scholarship Award:

  • Must be a current Grade Twelve Graduate
  • Preference will be given to students pursuing the fields of financial services, business, finance, marketing, human resources, or computers.
  • Essay - In up to 300 words - tell us how growing up in Hudson Bay and area has impacted your life and prepared you for your future.
  • Applications will include applicants list of community involvement and School Extracurricular Activities for past three years.
  • Scholarship winner will provide proof of enrollment and will allow Hudson Bay Credit Union to publicly recognize scholarship winner using name, picture and essay.

Brandi continued her education at SIAST – Palliser Campus in the Accounting Program.  Congratulations Brandi–Hudson Bay Credit Union wishes you well in your future endeavours.

Cumberland Scholarship Award Recipient — $500

Annual scholarship awarded to a local student enrolled in post-secondary education through Cumberland Regional College.  Contact local office at 865-2175 or go to their website at http://www.cumberlandcollege.sk.ca/

2008 Co-op Youth Leadership Awards — $475 per Youth

Click on the Saskatchewan Co-operative Youth Program for more information.

Applicant(s) will be between the ages of 14-17 and will write why they wish to attend the program and will obtain parental consent to attend the week long leadership seminar in the summer.

If chosen applicant will commit to:

  • Attend, learn and participate in the leadership and development activities
  • Write a testimonial on what they enjoyed about the camp — share pictures that the credit union  can use on our Web, powerpoint, etc.
  • Help the credit union present information next year to the next round of 14-17 year olds at the high school information.
  • Will allow Hudson Bay Credit Union to publicly recognize leadership winner using name, pictures and testimonial.

Red Deer Valley Music Festival Scholarship

Hudson Bay Credit Union supports the music festival each year by providing support to the festival plus sponsorship of a yearly scholarship.  Last year’s recipients were Rayne Seafoot and Riane LaPaire.
